- The offered Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) for this H-2A position includes a downward Adverse Compensation Adjustment (ACA). There will be a deduction of $2.23 per hour. This adjustment is applied in recognition of the employer's cost to provide free housing to H-2A workers, as required by law. The resulting adjusted wage rate for H-2A workers shall not fall below the highest applicable Federal or State minimum wage. U.S. workers in corresponding employment will be paid the full, unadjusted AEWR.
