Job Duties:

We are a 6000 acre rice and soybean farm. We are about a 50/50 on crops. we run a mixture of of case and john Deere equipment. All of our crops are flood irrigated so there is always something going on around the farm. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, operate self propelled machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: rice, soybeans. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
