- Duties include the following but is not limited to: Feeding, watering, herding, catching, loading, castrating, branding, and weighing of animals. Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries. Assisting in administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides. Assists with calving. Inspect, maintain and repair cattle equipment, buildings, pens, yards and fences. May maintain records on cattle.
