Job Duties:

Cleaning, treating, bagging rice to be delivered to fields for planting; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Clean all equipment with air and water, etc; assist with harvesting rice by auguring rice to dryers and using hot air to reduce moisture content, pull time samples for grading and checking moisture content; Transfer dried rice to bins and transport rice to market, perform end of season maintenance and cleaning tasks on machinery and equipment; Daily repairs and maintenance to the drying machine; Drive farm vehicle; Minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
