Job Duties:

We are a new commercial vegetable farm, farming approximately 1,000 acres, with need to clean, load/unload product from/to storage and into trucks/semis. Once commodity is shipped, there is cleaning and prepping equipment, buildings for the next growing season. Job duties will include: clean work areas and grounds maintenance including snow and ice removal, load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, build agricultural structures, clean equipment or facilities, load agricultural or forestry products for shipment, perform manual agricultural, aquacultural, or horticultural tasks. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements:

Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 2 months farm experience.
