Job Duties:
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Inspect pregnant livestock for illness/injury, Treat sick/injured pregnant livestock, Assist with calving, Tend to livestock after calving, Inspect calves for illness/injury, Treat sick/injured calves, Provide calves with colostrum, Retrieve feed from storage, Prepare feed and mix in additives, Give feed to livestock, Check feed equipment, Clean/maintain feed equipment, Place mineral blocks, Inspect water sources/equipment, Break/melt/remove ice from water, Clean/maintain/repair water systems, Deliver water to livestock facilities, Give water to livestock, Administer vaccinations, Shovel away snow by hand, Prepare snow removal equipment, Clear snow from facilities, Herd livestock, Collect and remove manure, Remove old bedding, Prepare new bedding, Vaccinate/treat new livestock, Maintain livestock equipment. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.

Special Requirements:
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
