Job Duties:

Perform all duties related to the care and management of beef cattle including feeding, watering, herding, sorting, branding, tagging, and vaccinating livestock; assist with calving, weaning, and moving cattle between pastures; monitor and report on animal health and behavior; identify and treat minor illnesses or injuries as directed; clean and maintain barns, pens, corrals, feed bunks, and water systems; repair and maintain fences and ranch facilities; operate tractors, ATVs, loaders, and other ranch equipment to feed cattle, haul hay, or perform maintenance; assist with maintenance and repair of vehicles, machinery, and equipment used in daily operations; follow all safety and animal welfare procedures; work outdoors in all weather conditions; perform general ranch labor as needed including grounds maintenance, facility upkeep, and seasonal tasks associated with livestock production.

Special Requirements:

Workers must be able to lift and carry items like feed bags, fuel jugs, and other daily supplies, with a lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds. Moderate cell phone use is allowed, but only for work-related purposes. Personal use during work hours is not permitted. Applicants must provide an employment reference and have a three-year clean driving record for insurance purposes, especially if operating vehicles or machinery.
