Job Duties:
General farm work includes: Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, pastures, levees, farm roads & fences; field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice and driving tractors; fertilize, spot spray weeds; spraying to maintain vegetation, assist with loading and unloading of rice trucks; must be able to drive vehicles to various farm locations; maintain rice bins including clean up of rice spills, sweeping rice spills/bins. Assist in various breeding programs including heat detections, pulling for artificial inseminating. Assist in care of cattle to include vaccinating, branding, feeding, treating sick animals. Loading/unloading trucks/trailers. Obtain and deliver crawfish crop/bait. Clean and feed bunks and water troughs, mowing pastures, spraying weeds on building and fence maintenance - baleing hay.
