- Mixes feed and additives, fills feed troughs with feed and waters livestock. Examines animals to detect diseases and injuries, vaccinates animals by using syringes. Spray livestock with insecticide. Maintain ranch buildings and equipment. Assist in calving and care of cows and calves. 3 month livestock expereince.
