- Job Duties:
- Primary objective is to maintain healthy bee colonies. Such tasks include routine surveying of the hives, splitting hives, feeding hives, and applying treatments to bees for mite/pest prevention, as well as maintenance and keeping bee equipment/machinery/vehicles clean, and sterilizing all honey extraction equipment. The job also requires the skills to load, unload and transport hives between locations. And at the end of each work season, there will be necessary tasks to properly clean, prep, and store all beekeeping equipment and facilities until next season.

- Special Requirements:
- Must be able to provide references to verify experience. Must be able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively. Drivers license in 30 days. Clean driving record required.
