Job Duties:

An additional worker is needed to use tractors, planters, sprayers and harvest equipment to plant, cultivate, harvest or terminate various cover crops such as oats, radish, cereal rye, clover, Austrian winter peas and turnips that restore key nutrients to the soil. These are cover crops are not regularly planted because it takes time for the soil to become nutrient depleted to where a cover crop is needed. Accordingly, cover crops are not regularly planted and our US workers will have very little experience with these cover crops. Therefore, an additional labor is needed on a temporary basis to ensure these unusual crops are properly grown, terminated and/or harvested. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. for 25 yards. 3 months farm equipment operation experience required.
