- Job Duties:
- Duties may include: Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment; Raise and maintain Honey bee hives, includes: feedings, assemble hives, force remove bees from hive, extract honey comb from hive, move hive locations, trap Queen bees, maintain colony health; split bee colonies; Feed and medicate bees; Monitor, maintain and increase beehives; remove boxes from beehives; Harvest, extract and package honey; Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment; Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season; cleanup and maintain of worksites and equipment.
