Job Duties:

Duties may include: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment. Maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Hay production employee that has experience with alfalfa and/or timothy hay farming operations; putting up hay, monitoring irrigation of fields, storage of hay and other job-related duties. A minimum of 3 months experience is required with late model hay production equipment within the last 10 years and horsepower’s over 150. Experience working a full season in haying production is preferred. Will assist in the day-to-day production of alfalfa and grass hay. Hay storage experience is preferred & other related Equipment Operator/Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements:

Must be 18 due to equipment use.Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 75lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash. Workers may not post or remove notices, signs, or other instructions from the employers bulletin boards or the employer
