Job Duties:

Job requires the operation of various custom harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and the operation of tractors and various farm equipment to transport product to storage areas. Trucks as well as tractors with dump carts will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job will require moving trucks, equipment, and housing facilities between worksite locations. Job also requires changing cutting heads as appropriate for crop; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing equipment. While at the home location, additional job duties may include mowing and weed eating; building and maintaining property borders; operating tractors and farm equipment to plant crops, till soil, swath and bale hay, and spread manure; terrace construction; and site preparation for the pouring of concrete; pour concrete; and ensuring operational areas are clean, organized, and well maintained. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer. Wentz Enterprises LLC will provide, at no cost to the workers, an effective means of communicating with persons capable of responding to the worker’s needs in case of an emergency. The workers can either be reimbursed for cell phones that they currently have or have their phones placed on the employer’s plan. All farm equipment contains radios that the workers will be able to use in the event of an emergency.
