- Job Duties:
- (Strawberry and Blueberry) Workers will perform a variety of tasks related to the planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest handling of blueberries and strawberries. Specific duties include: Receive harvested fruit from field pickers at designated collection points. Stack and secure filled fruit trays onto pallets for transport and storage. Use manual or electric pallet jacks to move loaded pallets within the field, packing area, or cold storage. Ensure accurate and efficient organization of harvested fruit according to supervisor instructions. Assist in planting of new strawberry and blueberry plants by hand or using hand tools. Install support stakes, tree wraps, and other plant protection equipment. Apply pre-measured fertilizers and soil amendments at planting and during the growing season. Prune plants as directed to encourage healthy growth and maximize yield. Remove weeds manually or using hand tools. Maintain clean and organized work areas in the field and around handling zones. Work will take place outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and humidity.

- Workers must be able to stand, bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day. All tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker. Workers must follow all food safety, hygiene, and field sanitation protocols.
