- Beekeeper will attend beehives, feed honeycomb and swap queen bee; help the colony to produce honey, propolis and bees. Clean honeycomb areas.

- Special Requirements:
- 3 months experience required as beekeeper. Must bend, lift and sustain up to 50lbs, work under extreme weather conditions. No travel required outside Linn and Benton Counties. No on-the-job training available. When temperatures are above 80oF, if possible, we begin early the work in the field to avoid the high temperatures and perform indoors the work that can be done inside. If we are outdoors during high temperatures, we comply with OAR regulations, taking breaks in the shade regularly, and drinking water. We also provide the phone numbers they should call in case of an emergency, besides 911, and make available to them the OSHA information about the risk of heat and the symptoms and what to do in case of feeling sick.
