Job Duties:

Job duties include but are not limited to: Maintain a cow/calf operation; hay and feed cattle; water cattle and maintain water tanks; routine and urgent care for livestock; monitor the herd for signs of illness or injury; assist with breeding and calving; administer vaccinations and medications; routine maintenance and repair of both permanent and temporary fencing; basic vehicle, trailer, and equipment maintenance.

Special Requirements:

2 months of livestock experience required. Alcohol, drug testing, and criminal background checks may be conducted post-hire at employer's expense and are not part of the interview process. All workers may be subject to mandatory testing if they have been involved in a reportable accident or upon reasonable suspicion that drug use is impacting job performance. Because workers use expensive, heavy agriculture equipment, any worker with recent a criminal conviction for DWI or property crimes will be terminated. Workers with a clean driving record and insurable driver's license may be required to drive company vehicles.
