- Job Duties:
- Workers may be required to assist in several different farm tasks during crawfish season, including crawfishing. Workers will also be required to walk/ride the fields to check water levels. Workers will also work in crawfish fields by pushing small a crawfish boat and/or running a small motorized crawfish boat; emptying and bating traps for the next day; cleaning and preparing crawfish boats each day when fishing; loading and unloading sacks of crawfish that that weigh up to 45 pounds; and preparing the artificial or cut fish bait each day for the next day (bait boxes may weigh up to 75lbs.).
