Job Duties:

We farm 1500 acres of triticale, corn, and alfalfa. Employees will need to operate farm equipment to assist with all aspects of raising these crops including swathing, baling, and harvesting forages. Equipment includes but not limited to 8 series John Deere tractors, Hesston 2190 baler, Staheli West steamer, and other equipment related to the harvest of alfalfa hay and other similar farming practices. Employees will need to assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems. Haul harvested crops to storage, Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid $0.62/hr above the minimum.

Special Requirements:

Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires repetitive movements, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
