Job Duties:

We farm 2,500 acres of cotton, peanuts, corn and soybeans. We need a seasonal employee to assist with all aspects of raising these crops. Most acres are irrigated. Employees will need to assist with planting, irrigating, and harvesting crops. Employees will need to operate farm equipment and complete routine maintenance on equipment and irrigation systems. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Special Requirements:

Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Requires 3 months experience.
