Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties under SOC Code 45-2093 such as: Attend to live farm, ranch animals on a cow-calf operation; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, catching, sorting, castrating, branding, and loading animals; Deliver, move feed/feedstuffs to cattle to supplement diet; Maintain records on loads; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries and administer vaccinations and medicines as necessary; Drive trucks to transport livestock and feed from one location to another; Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock equipment and facilities; Use ATVs, horses, and or trucks to check fence lines for evidence of predators or hazards and make repairs to holes/fences. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
