- Job Duties:
- Perform manual labor to plant, cultivate, harvest, and prepare nursery stock, annuals, and perennials for sale and shipment. Work may take place in greenhouses, hoop houses, fields, and loading areas. Duties require long periods of standing, bending, and lifting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Take inventory and grade plants according to size and quality standards. Dig, plant, transplant, and cultivate nursery stock, perennials, and annuals. Harvest, trim, stake, water, and prune plants as directed. Load, unload, lift, and carry nursery stock, trays, pots, and soil materials. Move, set up, or maintain irrigation systems, tools, carts, and greenhouse equipment. Pull and assemble customer orders for perennials and annuals according to specifications. Weed, clean, and maintain greenhouse, field, and nursery work areas. Perform general maintenance of field and production areas as assigned. Follow all safety and quality standards in the care, handling, and shipping of live plants. Work is performed under close supervision and may include other related tasks consistent with nursery and greenhouse production needs.

- Workers must have at least 2 months of experience in verifiable nursery work. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform repetitive movements, stand for long periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 40 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
