- Job Duties:
- Job duties include operating farm equipment to plow, spray, and sow crops; swathing, baling hay, spreading fertilizer, and driving trucks to haul hay from the field to the storage area at the farm. Equipment that employees will operate includes tractors, pickup trucks, plow, sprayer, drill, cultivator, hay tractor, silage trailer, and belly dump. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Employees will mow around the farmstead and may feed hay if necessary. Duties will also include repairing fences when necessary, general maintenance and repairs on trucks and farm equipment, and maintenance around the farm. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.

- Special Requirements:
- Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire and basic English literacy and math skills. Workers will be performing duties outdoors during periods when temperatures could exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Job duties will workers to push, pull, sit, walk, stoop, bend over, or perform repetitive movements for extended periods. Drug screening and background check may be done post hire at the employer's expense. Positive results on drug testing will result in disciplinary action which may include immediate termination.
