- Job Duties:
- Duties include participating in all phases of the blueberry harvest. During the harvest period, workers will hand -pick blueberries into pails, transport filled pails to the packing facility, and assist with sorting and packaging blueberries to prepare them for delivery to retail locations. Outside of the harvest period, workers will perform general farm maintenance duties such as weed control, monitoring water and irrigation systems for leaks, and completing minor repairs to facilities, equipment, and field structures. Additional responsibilities include prepping packaging materials, propagating new plants using established propagation methods, and tracking daily harvest and production data. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. for 50 yards.
