Job Duties:

A farm worker on a corn, rice, and cotton farm helps with planting, growing, and harvesting these crops. The job includes preparing fields, operating tractors and other farm equipment, and checking crops for pests, weeds, and water needs. Workers may handle irrigation systems, apply fertilizers, and assist in maintaining farm machinery. During harvest season, they help gather and load crops for storage or transport. The job requires physical labor, the ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions, and following safety procedures. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
