- Job Duties:
- Employees will need to assist with equipment prep from February until March and assemble headers for the combines to ensure we are able to leave on the harvest on time. Operates self-propelled custom harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops. Adjusts speed cutter, blowers and conveyors and height of cutting head, using hand tools. Changes cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drives heavy truck to transport produce to elevator or storage area. Services machinery and makes in field repairs. No smoking is allowed. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
