- Job Duties:
- Prepare beehives to be shipped to California for pollination services. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Prepare beekeeping equipment. Receive all beehives returning from California at the end of pollination season. Load and unload beehives. Monitor, maintain and increase beehives. Split hives. Feed and medicate bees. Harvest, extract and package honey and other bee byproducts. Clean and sanitize honey extraction plant and equipment. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season.
