- Job Duties:
- Temporary, seasonal heavy and tractor-trailer truck driver needed for corn, cotton, and rice farm. Job duties include operating and performing routine servicing of 18-wheeler truck to transport corn, cotton, and/or rice from the fields to the mill/bins operating tractor-trailer combination; travel between worksites required; DOT Approved CDL required; 3 months previous experience of driving tractor-trailer combination; job involves extensive sitting, exposure to extreme temperatures, and repetitive movements; drug screening may be required upon hire and randomly (paid for by employer). Bonuses may be paid at the end of contract and a higher wage may be paid based on experience, all at the discretion of the employer. Base hours offered is 40 hours; overtime hours are usually offered during a plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season. Work schedule includes a one unpaid lunch hour. Se necesita un conductor temporal, estacional de camiones pesados y tractores-remolques para una granja de maíz, algodón y arroz. Se pueden pagar bonificaciones al final del contrato y se puede pagar un salario más alto en función de la experiencia, todo a discreción del empleador. Las horas base ofrecidas son 40 horas; las horas extras generalmente se ofrecen durante una temporada abundante y pueden incluir entre 10 y 40 horas adicionales de trabajo extra dependiendo de la naturaleza de la temporada. El horario de trabajo incluye una hora de almuerzo no remunerada.
