Job Duties:
We need seasonal workers to assist with the production of corn, wheat, beans, rye, and soybeans. Employees will perform all duties related to raising these crops, including preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; and operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery. Duties include planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting; fertilizing and applying pesticide solutions using hand sprayers; irrigating fields using portable pipes or ditch systems; and maintaining ditches, pipes, pumps, and pivot irrigation systems. Workers will load and unload crops and materials manually or with conveyors, forklifts, augers, and hand trucks; load hoppers and conveyors with products; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow and remove damaged items; and adjust equipment controls as needed. Additional tasks include monitoring machinery for malfunctions, driving farm semi-trucks to transport crops and supplies, performing routine equipment and irrigation system maintenance and repairs, and recording agricultural data as required.

Job requires repetitive movements, extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, and frequent stooping or bending and the ability to lift 100 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
