Job Duties:

Operate self-propelled equipment such as truck with trailer in the process of reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops such as wheat, alfalfa, corn; Load crops onto trucks by driving alongside harvesting machine in the field while driving over crop residue and through muddy, dry, dusty field conditions without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments and safety checks to harvesting machinery; Weigh and record weights and identifying information, inform farm manager of crop harvesting progress; Direct and monitor work during harvesting; Drive truck with trailer to transport crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas; All duties to be performed are those involved in harvesting crops. Must be able to speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive grain trucks. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
