Job Duties:

We are a family run farming operation located in Central South Dakota seeking a General Farm Laborer. Employee will be working right alongside the owners, completing everyday tasks on the farm. Employee will assist with preparing equipment for spring planting by completing routine repairs and maintenance, assist with field prep including tilling and planting crops; spraying crops; harvesting crops; trucking our crops to storage and market; sweeping and scooping grain in grain bins; repairing fence; and haying. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will also need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Crops: Corn, Wheat, Sunflowers, Milo and Forage for Hay. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
