Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working around bins and augers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, cotton picker, sprayer, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as cotton, corn, soybeans; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools. Clean equipment using powerwasher, Operate tractor drawn implements to repair terraces and perform erosion control and drainage; Speak and understand english. Workers will be expected to travel to various locations to obtain inputs like tools, supplies, seed, fertilizer, etc. including going to Nutrien, Helena, and Greenpoint sites for water. These locations are not worksites, and our specific field list may fluctuate throughout the season based on weather and crop conditions and leaseholds.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
