- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Walk fields to pull weeds; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including manually carrying and laying poly pipe, check irrigation motors, observe water levels; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and primarily John Deere self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, rice, corn; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; While a CDL is not required for the job, some workers hired under this job order may already possess or obtain one. Must speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 5 workers to begin Feb 1, 2026 and 6 workers to begin March 15, 2026.

- Special Requirements:
- Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
