- Job Duties:
- Winter pruning of fruit trees using handsaws and pruning tools. Rake brush and orchard cleanup. Thin blossoms and fruit on peach and cherry trees. Harvest fruit by hand at correct ripeness. Pack fruit into shipping boxes. Must be able to climb up and down orchard ladder with pruning tools and 35 lb. picking tote. Work will include conducting weekly housing maintenance inspections. Must be able to pick 10 bushel bags of fruit per hour for job retention. One (1) month of experience pruning and harvesting fruit trees is required. The employer will provide training and allow two weeks for the worker to reach the production standards. --------------------------------------------------------- Poda invernal de árboles frutales mediante serruchos y herramientas de poda. Cepillo rastrillo y limpieza de huerto. Flores y frutos finos en melocotoneros y cerezos. Coseche la fruta a mano en su correcta madurez. Empaque la fruta en cajas de envío. Debe poder subir y bajar la escalera del huerto con herramientas de poda y una bolsa de recolección de 35 libras. El trabajo incluirá la realización de inspecciones semanales de mantenimiento de viviendas. Debe poder recoger 10 bolsas de fruta por hora para conservar el trabajo. Se requiere un (1) mes de experiencia en poda y cosecha de árboles frutales. El empleador brindará capacitación y concederá dos semanas para que el trabajador alcance los estándares de producción.
