- Job Duties:
- Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, fertilize, harvest and haul small grain crops. Cut, bale, transport and stack hay. Set, maintain and repair irrigation systems. Haul agricultural commodities from storage facilities to local markets utilizing grain trucks. Repair and maintain fencing. General farm duties such as servicing and repairing equipment, facility maintenance and shop work. Winterize farming equipment at the end of the farming season.
