- Job Duties:
- Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, fertilize, harvest and haul grain and oilseed crops. Transport agricultural inputs such as chemicals, seed and fertilizer. Transport agricultural equipment from field to field. Load and unload crops. Haul seed. Haying duties. Operate grain cart. Transport crops to storage facilities. Mow yards. Perform routine maintenance to farming equipment and make infield repairs when necessary. General farm upkeep duties such as facility maintenance and shop work.
