Job Duties:

Clean, service, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as silage, wheat, hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Work performed for the growers listed includes operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops such as hay; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment, vehicles, & trucks; performing safety checks on equipment, vehicles, & trucks; maintaining and repairing equipment, vehicles, & trucks, and other tools; transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another; Speak and understand english.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
