Job Duties:

We are a family farm that raise cattle and 3500acres row crops. We perform our own mechanic work on machinery and all of our own field work ie spreading fertilizer, spraying, tillage, planting, combining, chopping silage. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, construct facilities, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, operate self propelled machinery, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, dozers, choppers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, grain carts, forklift, manure spreading equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, sprayers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. Most equipment is John Deere, Case IH, or Fendt. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: silage, corn, soybeans. We provide lunch on working days and during spring and fall field work we also provide supper. Speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
