Job Duties:

During the Spring/Summer/Fall season employees will drive quad axle trucks to haul and apply fertilizer to fields. Assist with mixing, loading, and spreading of fertilizer and chemical products including but not limited to Anhydrous Ammonia. Employees will need to assist with loading, unloading, and hauling grain to and from fields to storage locations. Assist with monitoring and maintaining grain quality. Assist with the operations of the scale to weigh products. Sweep and clean out grain bins. Ability to operate single or double axel trucks, lawnmowing equipment, forklifts, scale operations, augers, front-end loaders, railcar moving equipment, and application equipment. Assisting in general housekeeping of ALCIVIA facilities to keep dirt and debris at a minimum. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles as needed to keep equipment in proper working order. Consults with Site Manager about scheduled work and work assignments. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at $19.00/hr as long as that rate exceeds the current published rate. New foreign hires will be paid $17.00/hr.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to climb to heights of up to 200ft. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license or equivalent. Employer will conduct post-hire and random drug testing at employer's expense to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires extensive sitting or walking depending on the job and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to communicate in English. Employer may deduct for willful destruction of property. Requires 3 months experience.
