Job Duties:

Daily operation, maintenance and repair of the irrigation equipment. Coordinate fertigation and irrigation adjustments as requested. Calibration of equipment and products used. Troubleshoot and problem solve on daily irrigation route. Be consciously aware and educated about watering needs of crops and soil. Off-season repair and maintenance of irrigation equipment. Assist in seed cutting, planting and harvest operations, as assigned. Assist in the shipping and handling of the potato crop, throughout the year. Off season repair of farm equipment, as assigned. Other duties as assigned by the Irrigation Manager. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.

Special Requirements:

Employer will conduct post-hire drug random drug testing to enforce a drug free workplace at no cost to the employee. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing and pulling, frequent stooping, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Require 3 months experience.
