- Job Duties:
- Job duties are related to caring for hogs at two 4,000-hog sites and one 3,000-hog site. Tasks include helping to fill barns with new hogs, feeding pigs, checking and adjusting water, keeping daily records, and assisting with the sale of hogs when they reach market weight. Workers will also identify sick hogs, administer vaccinations and other treatments, check ventilation in the buildings, and use a power-washer to clean and disinfect hog buildings. If necessary, workers will remove dead hogs to the dead box with a truck. Workers may also be required to perform basic repairs and maintenance on the facilities and equipment as needed (e.g., welding damaged gates). Farming with: Pig

- Special Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
