- Job Duties:
- Workers will work outside. Field work includes cleaning and removing debris, rocks and shrubs, weeds and preparing the fields for seasonal pecan and hay harvests. Work will consist of both manual activities as well as operating and agricultural equipment on the farm. Work will include maintaining and repairing of farm equipment. Additionally work will include repairing or replacing broken fences as well as repairing or replacing building and other structures on the farm.

- Monday-Saturday, Schedule varies, Start/End times vary. Some Sundays as needed. No exp req'd; will train. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are required for new workers. Both background checks & drug screening are becoming standard in many employment situations involving both expensive and dangerous equipment. It is imperative that workers not be under the influence of drugs while operating ranch equipment for their safety and the safety of others. Pre-employment screening is a proven method to control drug use in the workplace. Background checks are essential for these positions. The workers will frequently be working without direct supervision, and will have 24/7 access to the ranch. They will be living adjacent to my family when not working. For the safety of myself and my family, knowing the background of the employee is important. All new employees, US residents and H2A workers will undergo the same screening at the expense of High Ridge Ranch prior to employment.
