Job Duties:

Duties include driving and operating farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops, wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS. Operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed, and fertilize. They will transport materials, supplies, or crops from fields or bin storage to the designated location of local elevators. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after given instructions and must be a team player when needed. Requirements: - Employees must have a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days. - Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. - NO TEXTING. - No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing, or grounds. - No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged. - Must be able to read, understand, and speak English for record-keeping and safety reasons. - No Educational level required. Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English for safety reasons and record keeping. Must be able to communicate with owners and other employees about jobs and various tasks. - Must have three months of GPS and farm machinery with towed implements.
