Job Duties:
EMPLOYEES WILL SEED AND TRANSPLANT ANNUALS AND PERENNIALS INTO FLATS, GROW SHRUGS AND TREES FROM PLUGS AND SEEDLINGS. WATER, TRIM, PRUNE, FERTILIZE AND MAINTAIN PLANTS, SHRUBS, AND TREES. TRANSPLANT ANNUALS, PRENNIALS, SHRUBS AND TREES INTO BIGGER CONTAINERS OR INTO THE GROUND AS THEY GROW. WORKERS WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO MOVE PLANT MATERIAL TO DESIGNATED AREAS. WORKERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PREPARE SOIL MIXTURES FOR ALL PLANTING MATERIALS. WORKERS WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REMOVE WEEDS FROM PLANTS AND SURROUNDING AREAS. WORKERS WILL ALSO OPERATE EQUIPMENT TO EITHER DIG UP FIELD GROWN TREES OR PLANT YOUN PLANT MATERIAL INTO THE GROWING FIELDS, USE LAWN MOWERS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT TO UPKEEP FIELDS WHERE TREES ARE GROWN AND SURROUNDING AREAS SO THEY CAN BE HEALTHY. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE FIELD MAINTANANCE, CAMP SANITATION, LOADING AND UNLOADING. THIS WILL ALL BE DONE UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. HEAVY LIFTING, BENDING AND STOOPING WILL BE INVOLVED ON A DAILY BASIS.

Special Requirements:
52LB LIFTING TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER HEAVY BENDING AND STOOPING REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS 2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.
