Job Duties:

We are an organization that grows and processes corn, black beans, light and dark red kidney beans. Our equipment consists of conveyors, augers, and John Deere equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in extreme weather conditions; clean work areas; construct structures to support plant growth; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; hand pick and manually grade crops; load and unload materials and commodities; maintain inventory; operate self propelled machinery; participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, box sorting equipment, dirt moving equipment, forklift, mowers and other landscaping equipment, packaging equipment, pickups, cars, planters, skid steers, spreaders, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. Moving crops from silos to processing plant via gravity boxes, to clean and sort. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce and process: Corn, Black beans, light and dark red kidney beans. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
