- Job Duties:
- Assist in the water management and conservation of surface and ground water. Set up and operate irrigation equipment. Assist in the preparation and placement of poly tubing. Assist in the maintenance of LP, diesel and electric wells, and in the mixing, calibration, and application of farm chemicals in connection with the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of the cotton crop and irrigation of the cotton crop. Work schedules may vary, and employees may be assigned to rotating shifts, including evening or weekend work as needed. Duties may change during the workday depending on crop and weather conditions or other needs. Workers will perform a variety of general farm labor tasks as assigned, consistent with the job description and within the certified hours.
