Job Duties:

We need seasonal workers to assist with corn, wheat, and soybean production. We are usually busy from March - December. We transport crops to the grain bins for on sight storage, and for transporting crops to the grain elevator. We Operate sprayers and combines for the planting, tilling, spraying and harvesting of the crops. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops, drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Special Requirements:

This job requires extensive sitting or walking, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive sitting or walking. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 2 months farm experience. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law.
