- Job Duties:
- FARM LABORER: Worker will be required to perform a variety of tasks under supervision in vineyard and orchard operation. Worker will be required to complete the following activities: general farm, orchard and vineyard maintenance; weeding; shoveling; hoeing; mowing; thinning; pruning; training vines; vineyard canopy management; grafting; planting and transplanting fruit trees; install tree screens/grow tubes; drive and operate vehicles, tractors or other agricultural equipment such as forklifts; routine general repairs and maintenance of farm equipment and tools on farm; conduct farm building repairs; construct and maintain trellis; construct and maintain bird netting and deer fencing; complete general hand tasks to include picking up garbage around the orchard/vineyard, removing old trees/vines, string and wire from trellis and orchard blocks; picking up sticks, rocks and brush throughout the farm; conduct various field and farm clean up tasks. Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse Workers (45-2092)

- Experience Requirement: 1 verifiable month of commercial agriculture experience in fruit required. Applicants must furnish job references from recent employers within the last 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Job requires worker to complete tasks in general farm labor, vineyard and orchard maintenance. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Drug testing not utilized as pre-employment tool. Season Commitment: Job offered requires worker be available for work for entire employment period.
