Job Duties:

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest grapes. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; applying pesticides; or cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to move grapes into bins or place them onto flatbed trailers for transport to the sorting facility and carry a 50-pound strap on a backpack sprayer to apply pesticides, herbicides, and liquid fertilizer. No testing will be required; we will accept the applicant's statement that they are able to lift up to 50 lbs. Some OT and Weekends required.
