Job Duties:

As landscaping and groundskeeping workers on a chicken farm, the role involves maintaining the farm's outdoor areas to ensure functionality, cleaning, and safety. The workers will operate specialized equipment like commercial-grade lawn mowers with large decks for expansive grassy areas, trimmers, weed eaters, and brush cutters to control vegetation. Workers will irrigate where necessary as well as trim trees and other vegetation. Additionally, workers will assist in waste disposal and maintaining a clean environment. Special Requirements:

While there is no education requirement, worker must have 1 month experience in grounds keeping and be able to lift and carry 75 pounds 75 yards. Worker must be able to strictly follow biosecurity guidance provided by the farmer. Worker must be able to tolerate the strong smell of manure and cold temperatures for extended periods of time. Worker must have or be able to obtain a drivers license. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
